The AquaVentus Förderverein welcomes the opportunity to comment for the procedure to amend
and updating of the area development plan (FEP) in accordance with Section 8 (WindSeeG). We were happy to respond to the call from the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency(BSH).

Only close consultation and cooperation among all relevant stakeholders will enable the ramp-up of offshore electrolysis as an important contribution to an integrated energy system transformation.

The further development of the land development plan (FEP) is a central component here.

The BSH has taken important suggestions from AquaVentus into account in the current further development and has thus taken another step in the right direction.

AquaVentus will continue to accompany the ongoing process of FEP development and provide its expertise.
