The Institut für Klimaschutz, Energie und Mobilität (Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility IKEM), headquartered in Berlin, is a non-profit association and independent research institute with more than 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary research on climate protection in the tense relationship between law, economics and politics.  

The IKEM contributes its expertise to projects in which ideas for the transformation of economy and society are tested in practice. With the help of our research, innovations are established in the legal and political framework, climate protection ideas are brought to market maturity and optimised with a view to social acceptance.
