WTSH – Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer Schleswig-Holstein
The economic development agency of Germany's true north
WTSH is the central economic development and technology transfer agency of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. On behalf of the state it supports companies with site location, innovation projects, funding programmes, internationalisation and network building. Schleswig-Holstein is among the leading German states in renewable energy, with a strong wind energy tradition, a growing hydrogen economy and the ambitious goal of positioning itself as a climate-neutral industrial state and net zero valley. WTSH also coordinates the building of clusters and networks that connect industry, science and policy.
For AquaVentus, WTSH is an important link between the offshore hydrogen project and the economic policy framework of Schleswig-Holstein. As the development agency of the state through whose coastal waters AquaDuctus is to run, WTSH brings not only network and funding expertise but also the connection to state level and regional economic policy, both decisive for delivering infrastructure projects of this scale.
