Flex Campaign 2026

Why offshore hydrogen is a viable building block of the energy transition.

Why is offshore hydrogen a viable building block of the energy transition? In our “Flexibility” campaign, we answer this question argument by argument, together with the experts from our member companies.

Each contribution addresses a central argument — from industrial value creation to digitalisation, infrastructure and regulation — and gives a voice from practice. This makes it concrete and tangible: what contribution does green hydrogen from the North Sea make to the decarbonisation of industry, the relief of electricity grids and the securing of German value chains?

Step by step, a complete picture emerges of the many facets that make offshore hydrogen a flexible and indispensable part of the future energy system.
