TenneT

TenneT is one of Europe's largest transmission system operators, supplying around 42 million end users in Germany and the Netherlands with electricity from the high and extra-high voltage grid around the clock. With more than 23,500 kilometres of high-voltage lines, TenneT connects countries and markets and thus plays a key role in European energy integration.

Offshore, TenneT is the single largest investor in the energy transition and a decisive force behind the expansion of offshore wind in the North Sea. By 2030 TenneT plans to connect 20 GW of installed offshore capacity, an infrastructure that is indispensable for linking offshore wind, hydrogen production and European energy transport at system level.
