A super player in renewables, aiming for climate neutrality by 2040

RWE Renewables brings together the generation of electricity from renewable sources. This is where RWE has grown into a "super player" in renewables. Between 2012 and the end of 2020, CO₂ emissions were cut by more than 60 per cent.

RWE aims to be climate-neutral in 2040. With its comprehensive investment and growth strategy "Growing Green", the group is expanding generation capacity internationally to more than 50 gigawatts by 2030, with a gross investment volume of more than 50 billion euros.
