GASCADE Gastransport

GASCADE is a German gas transmission system operator based in Kassel. With 3,200 kilometres of gas infrastructure we connect five European countries, supplying Germany and Europe with energy flexibly and securely.

Gas transport and pipelines are our expertise, and that is why we also advocate the transport of hydrogen. Using hydrogen as an energy carrier is indispensable for the energy transition and for meeting climate targets. In future, hydrogen will be a connecting element between all sectors and will enable renewable and climate-neutral energy sources to be integrated further.
