Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. is the Federal Republic of Germany's research centre for aeronautics and space. As the space agency, DLR plans and implements national space funding on behalf of the federal government.
With its 55 institutes and facilities, DLR is present at 30 locations in Germany. It also has offices in Brussels, Paris, Tokyo and Washington.
