WG Technology – Session 1/2024

Dear members,

Our working group Technology will start in the year 2024 with a “Lunch & Learn” format on February 09 from 12.30 to 14.00.

We are therefore very pleased to announce the following two contributions by our members Subsea7 and W. L. Gore:

  • Subsea infrastructure for offshore hydrogen production – Architypes, architectures and technologies (Dominic Pliszka and Christophe Brice from Subsea7)

    • Introduction to the Subsea7 group
    • Hydrogen archetypes
    • Visualisations of typical fixed subsea architectures
    • Overview of subsea7’s hydrogen technologies
  • Enabling efficient and durable PEM electrolysers with advanced Proton Exchange Membranes (Oliver Teller from W. L. Gore)
    • Gore’s legacy of developing solutions for ruggedised applications
    • Addressing the challenges for green hydrogen production
    • Reducing OPEX and lowering LCOH by tackling membrane technology trade-offs
    • Solving component integration challenges and ensuring reliable, durable operation through effective collaboration
    • Scaling up through Gore’s high-volume product capacity and proven supply security
