The AquaVentus vision
As an emission-free alternative to crude oil, green hydrogen is central to the energy transition. AquaVentus sets signals worldwide with climate-friendly hydrogen technologies and projects at sea and promotes the transformation into the future European energy and economic system. AquaVentus’ visionary plan is to build 10 gigawatts of green hydrogen generation capacity from offshore wind energy by 2035. Leading companies, research institutes and associations along the entire value chain are paving the way with AquaVentus to supply the economy quickly and in an environmentally friendly manner with one million tons of green hydrogen from the North Sea each year.
The AquaVentus Association
The AquaVentus Förderverein supports and promotes the AquaVentus vision of generating renewable green hydrogen at sea. The association and its bodies strengthen the initiative with the help of public relations, the provision of information material and the organization of information events. The sponsoring association supports and moderates the network and the exchange of the association members. The members of the AquaVentus Förderverein are joining forces to promote green hydrogen at sea. Currently, almost 100 companies, research institutions and organizations are members of the AquaVentus Förderverein.
Activity description
As a student:in business or communication studies, you will be involved in the organizational life of the association. Your responsibilities will include accounting review of payments and cash management for the association. In addition, another focus will be account management with member communication. To this end, you will be involved in the communications, regulatory and technical working groups and will prepare the results for the association’s board of directors. Furthermore, you will support the marketing department in terms of public relations in the social media area.
Requirements profile
- Current studies and existing enrollment at a college or university
- High degree of initiative and diligence as well as an independent way of working
- Very good knowledge of German and English and confidence in German spelling
- Confident use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Creativity and interest in contributing your own ideas
- Confident demeanor and practiced communication with board, staff, and members
